Miniature fluorescence microscopy enables scientists to visualize brain activity and structural dynamics in animals engaged in self-determined behaviors. This cover image shows an imaginary scene of mice living in the vastness of the brain universe, freely behaving while wearing miniature microscopes. Miniaturization of the fluorescence microscope greatly facilitates research on novel behavioral paradigms, such as socialization, task execution, physiological activities, and decision-making. We envision that the new transformative miniature fluorescence microscope will play an indispensable part in unveiling the secrets of the brain universe. See page 11821190.
