α-Synuclein aggregates, Lewy bodies, will lead to synapse dysfunction, which is a key pathological feature of Parkinson’s disease (PD). PET imaging of related molecular targets holds great clinical value in delaying PD progression and enhancing prognosis. The cover image illustrates a brain covered with Lewy bodies, depicted by red spheres, with two elderly PD patients standing on the brain surface. The PD-affected brain appears desolate and inert, while the healthy brain on the opposite side, devoid of α-synuclein pathological burden, exudes vitality. See pages 743–758.
