NPRC Submission Track

To reduce the time and effort involved in the peer review of original neuroscience research reports, Neuroscience Bulletin has signed an agreement with the International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility to join the Neuroscience Peer Review Consortium (NPRC) as a member journal.

The NPRC is a cross-publisher alliance of neuroscience journals that share manuscript reviews with other NPRC members at the author’s request. To date, 58 world-renowned neuroscience journals, such as Nature Neuroscience, Journal of Neuroscience, Neuropharmacology, and Glia have joined in the NPRC (full list at http://nprc.incf.org/index.php/participating-journals).

The NPRC has notified other editors that Neuroscience Bulletin is now part of the consortium. Authors who submit their articles to Neuroscience Bulletin can benefit by using existing reviews when submitting their manuscripts to other journals in the consortium. It is the authors' decision to forward their reviews to another NPRC journal.

If you wish to re-use your reviews from our journal when you submit a manuscript to another journal in the consortium, please follow the instructions at: http://nprc.incf.org/index.php/about/information-for-authors.

Please send a pre-submission inquiry to the Editorial Office (nsb@ion.ac.cn) before submitting your paper to the ‘NPRC submission track’.

The pre-submission inquiry MUST contain: the manuscript accompanied by the last reviewers’ comments from other journals, point-by-point responses to these comments, and a recommendation letter.
