Neuroscience Bulletin 2011 impact factor is 1.311

 Beginning with the first issue of 2009, Neuroscience Bulletin has been included in the Science Citation Index, The impact factor of Neuroscience Bulletin is 1.311 reported by Thomson Reuters (ISI) in 29 June, 2012.

Neuroscience Bulletin is sponsored by the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Society for Neuroscience. It is a bimonthly periodical publishing original papers and reviews in English in all fields of neuroscience. As an official journal of the Chinese Society for Neuroscience, Neuroscience Bulletin is devoted to facilitating communications between Chinese neuroscientists and their international colleagues. The journal is recognized as the most influential publication in neuroscience research in China.

The journal is also indexed/abstracted in various citation resources, including Neuroscience Citation Index, Biological Abstracts, Biosis Previews, MEDLINE/PubMed, Index Medicus (IM), Chemical Abstracts (CA), IndexCopernicus, Scopus and Excerpta Medica (EM).

Neuroscience Bulletin have cooperated with Springer Science and Business Media since 2008 to publish on Springerlink, including hard copy publication and overseas distribution and online publication on both Springerlink (http://www.springerlink.com/content/1995-8218) and the webpage of the Neuroscience Bulletin (www.neurosci.cn). The online submission system (ScholarOne Manscripts) has been available for authors and referees since Jan 2010.

In October, 2011, the editorial board was reorganized by Editor-in-Chief Professor DUAN Shumin. The new editorial board consists of 93 members, among whom about half are distinguished neuroscientists from abroad, including six members of the American National Academy of Sciences and five Editors-in-Chief of leading neuroscience journals, ensuring that the journal maintains high scientific standards and has a broad international coverage. Besides, a native English-speaking neuroscientist, Prof. Iain C. Bruce, has been invited to serve as a full-time Executive Associate Editor.
