Neuroscience Bulletin Latest Impact Factor Reached 4.246!

 On June 20, Clarivate Analysis released the 2018 Journal Citation Reports (JCR). According to the JCR 2018, the impact factor for Neuroscience Bulletin (NB), sponsored by Shanghai institute for biological sciences, CAS and Chinese Neuroscience Society, reached 4.246, which is a great progress compared to 3.155 in JCR 2017 and the highest since its first launching in 2011. 

Among the 267 journals in the category of neuroscience in the new JCR, NB was ranked at 71st and partitioned to Q2. Also, NB was ranked in the first place among all Asian academic journals in the scope of neuroscience. 

NB aims to publish research advances in the field of neuroscience and promote the exchange of scientific ideas within the community. The journal publishes original papers on topics in neuroscience and focuses on the implications for diseases of the nervous system. NB welcomes research contributions on molecular, cellular, or developmental neuroscience using multidisciplinary approaches and functional strategies. 

In October, 2011, the Editorial Board of NB was reorganized by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Shumin Duan, the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the president of Chinese Neuroscience Society. Since January 2018, Prof. Ru-Rong Ji, from Duke University, USA has been the Co-Editor-in-Chief. The Editorial Board has 106 members, of whom about half are distinguished neuroscientists from abroad, ensuring that the journal maintains high scientific standards and has a broad international coverage. Besides, a native English-speaking neuroscientist, Prof. Iain C. Bruce, serves as a full-time Executive Associate Editor.
